This isn't a new defense and they're not in their first year.

All I know is the score of the KSU-NU game in '95 was 49-25.

I'd need to look at the film of the game but from the looks of it, it doesn't appear NU's offense was shut down, or their defense registered some serious points.

Here's what you're missing: The K St def was #1 before the 10/21/95 game with Neb. They held Neb to fewer yds rushing than any other team that yr (190 that game vs 400 avg/game for the yr). Of course Neb just went to the air and scored 7 TD's. Holding Neb to under 200 yds was an amazing feat in 1995 and led to Stoops as DC at UF.

Heartbreaktiger geaux frick yourself. I'm not defending them you arse clown. I was only interested in finding out how many first year DCs were very successful. I'm sure my post is harming LSU football and not your stupidity.
I agree the defense has been horrible against good teams.
