The issues are layered but it starts with the roster turnover

It trickles down

Because you’re breaking in new players

With new coaches

With no offseason

That is a combustible combination

Why has Alabama mostly prevented roster turnover

I beg to differ. We didn’t just lose players, we lost coordinators on both sides of the ball and had limited practice due to COVID-19.

They’ve stacked top 5 recruiting classes for a decade now

That allowed the talent to be layered & balanced.

The Covid stuff brought a totally different variable, too. LSU basically lost two nfl draft classes in 1 offseason,

You act like we only lost players who were drafted.

What about the opt outs? What about all the UFAs? If they believed in this staff some of them would be back to run it back or to improve their stock and actually be drafted.

After you win a title and you got to come back on a lesser team and play in front of no fans... meh. That ain’t what I signed up for. Other players came back motivated to Be better than before We just won one. Best sqaud ever. There was no better.

I’ve always had a good pulse on these things, good & bad, because I’m not emotional over it at all. That’s why I’m different than people like you.

You see the results, & I focus on the process. When it’s sour, I will tell you. And it ain’t there yet

Hard to argue against that. We’re definitely a one year wonder.

No way any of those teams make the playoffs losing 30+ players.

No way those teams would ever be in that position which is the underlying problem

I agree. I’m aware. I have the memorabilia hanging in my den.
