Get there EARLY... at least 11am if it’s a 6pm kickoff. If you don’t mind the hike and want a hassle free exit plan, then get to the Mellow Mushroom / Izzo’s parking lot on Burbank. Start off with a round of brews at either of those places (and at least it validates your parking there, though there is no real validation required). From that lot you will walk through several RV lots and some of the best tailgating on campus en route to the stadium.
Take 2-3 hours wandering the tailgate scene. Make yourselves friendly with intro as 1st time attendees, and being a group of mostly ‘southern belles’ will be a golden ticket to plenty of tailgating invites. Check out a few unless you absolutely stumble into something amazing on first stop.
Take ~1 hour to walk the campus (Quad, Parade Grounds, Union).
Get to ‘The Hill’ ~3-4pm to grab a spot to watch the team and band walk into the stadium. You can check out Mike the Tiger while you’re there.
Be in your seat at least 30 mins before kickoff so you can have a beverage and watch band play Pre-Game/Stadium Salute.
The walk back to the car will be a hike, but once you get there it is SMOOTH sailing out down Burbank to Highland to I-10.
This plan has not failed me once. ENJOY!

College Station is a great place but our hearts are purple and gold! :)

Bless your heart—it sucks!

Serious advice: with so many of you young ladies, do bring toilet paper. There are plenty of bath rooms across campus but they run out early and are seldom if ever restocked. Too, bathrooms in T.S. always have a line, so do not wait too late ! Yrs of experience with wife's smallest bladder in the world. Walking shoes. No umbrellas so check weather & get some cheap weather gear around campus. Walking with drinks ok, just no glass containers. We use large coke cups from Circle K - types. If game is switched till 2:30 pm, check back here for advice. as that will change your arrival
time. Unless the male in your group can pull an ice chest on wheels for a while, I'd just wander around & take advantage of all the food & drink everywhere. Wear something that will attract interest, as in "Texas Tiger" shirts...they can be printed up easy enough. Chimes is good for Fri nite, but with the size of your party, being that close to campus, you may wait a while. There is a Food & Drink link here, check it out for other just as good places but Fri nites are a big go - out - to -eat nites here. Hats for sun if game time changes. Toilet paper !

We talking about an LSU game day?

You can probably park at my friend's place on Jennifer Jean drive (they might charge a fee for beer fund) it's not SUPER close to the stadium, but it's an easy walk and is easy for leaving after the game

Check out Mike the Tiger's cage across from the stadium.
Watch the band march down the hill before the game.
Watch the band do their earthquake performance over by the Pentagon dorms.
Check out the LSU Barnes and Noble store
Lots to do on game day in between tailgating.

Jami, I highly suggest you not using your real name on here as your username. She’s married guys but confirmed that she has LSU gear.
