So, bro, If I was in dearborn, mi for work, and had SIDELINE PASSES to nd-mich, my arse bro would be at the hotel watching LSU-auburn if the games were on at the same time. Assuming you are an LSU fan, what would you do in the above scenario, bro??????????????

If the poster(s) who downvote my entry above are tiger fans, ya'll know damn well you wouldn't be standing on the michigan sideline hearing over the pa, "in the third qtr, LSU 23, auburn 7" You know damned well you would be watching LSU on a tv somewhere. I'm merely asking the op how he can do the reverse. You know I'm right.

I'm a diehard LSU fan, and I would be on the Mich-ND sideline in a heartbeat.

First time Tiger Stadium visitor questions
I haven't seen many nice places in Baton Rouge on AirBnB during football season. I would just get a hotel room or go back to NOLA after the game.

Of course there are:

Without a doubt I would be on the sideline for the Michigan - ND game.

We love having visitors, but if you wear the other team's colors we will throw booze on you. Just so you know.

Air bnb in br? I wouldn't.

I don't really know what it's like there, but I never took BR as this place people bought up property to Airbnb.

Maybe things have changed over the last 3 years.

Yikes!! Some good prices on a room in someone's house.

Got a much better deal with my own place in Austin.

Anything remotely close to stadium is in the ghetto for over $100/night

Some Michigan State fans at the Independence Bowl against LSU years ago in Shreveport said our fans were a lot louder than Michigan fans, even in smaller numbers. I would agree, you will love the game in Tiger Stadium!

Hi guys

Sorry to hijack this thread but I am in a similar situation to the OP. This thread has already provided some really helpful tips for us too so thank you!

Long story short - my buddy and I are coming over from Australia for four Saints games in November, which means we will be in NOLA the weekend of the LSU/Arkansas game on 23 November.

I've been to NOLA three times but this will be our first LSU game. I already have tickets in the endzone (400s)about 15-20 rows back but I guess I should have checked here first. Hopefully these are okay.

I have booked two tickets on the Rally Bus as recommended elsewhere on this site.

One thing about the Rally Bus though - it says 46 seats remain and while the trip has a "confirmed" status at the moment, my understanding is it could be cancelled if they don't get enough additional riders? Is that right? If so should I book two seats on the Baton Rouge Blitz just to be safe?

I am mindful that the Saints play the Panthers at midday on Sunday 24 November so we will have to get back to NOLA after the game late on Saturday night. I guess we won't know when the game time is for a while yet?

Lastly, I assume we can pick up some LSU gear (jerseys etc) at shops in NOLA too? We want to rep the purple + gold v Alabama on 10 November too - though we'll have to watch that at a bar in the Quarter.

Thanks in advance! Cannot wait to get amongst it!

Game time wont be announced for a while, but you'll be good for the game Sunday.

Also, you should definitely be able to find some gear in New Orleans. If not, theres a shop on LSU campus.

Hope you have a great time.

Awesome, thanks mate. Really looking forward to it.

Should we just show up with a portable beer cooler and some beers too? Are there VIP tailgates like with Saints games, or should we just wander around carrying beers?

Tailgating isn't really a thing in Australia other than at the horse races.

First of all, welcome to Death Valley ! If $ are not an issue, especially if this is a one game experience, make sure you are on the Tiger side. If you have to go upper level, the 500 seats are pretty good.
Please go early, wear your Mich apparel & enjoy the tailgating; you will not want for beverage or food. Hope you like a “little” spice.
Look forward to Mich getting back in the race ...... as soon as they get a college HC!
Have a great trip.
