Sorry, but I've never understood the Airbnb thing. Why would you want to stay at a total stranger's house? You can find a decent hotel in BR if you look hard enough. If not, find a nice one in NO. If you can pay $500 a piece for tickets, you can spend $300-$400/night for a decent hotel room.

Bigger cities have some that are nicer than hotels. The last one I stayed at in New Orleans was a brand new apartment in a good location that no one lived in. They were basically running it like a hotel. Kitchen, living room, bedroom, washer & dryer. Those are worth it. I agree about staying in some random persons house though.

New Orleans Breakfast is Mothers. A line to wait in, but worth it.

Mothers sucks arse. Not worth the wait. You can find MUCH better places in NOLA, like The Ruby Slipper Cafe. Blows the doors off of Mother's bland arse food.

Has anyone done the Skyline club? If someone is coming in town for just one game is it worth it?

If you have no rooting interest, wear neutral colors, no red, no blue, no orange. (Michigan T-shirt is acceptable even though it is blue.)

Dude, Wear your Michigan Colors and Represent your College. Like someone earlier mentioned our fans love to pick on other schools. Don't hesitate, chime back against our fans. They love that! At our tailgate we love to invite fans from other colleges to eat and have some beers with us. Please make sure you take a walk around the stadium and RV parking lots. Its a blast.

Considering that's the SEC lineup for that week that CBS has to pick from, its almost certain that LSU-Auburn will be their 2:30 game.

Frick we better get a night game against Florida then. Woodward has to negotiate SOMETHING positive for us this season regarding our schedule. Hope he tells CBS to shove it if they want UF-LSU at 2:30. two 11 am games and our biggest games during the day rather than at night?!

Games are like 4 hours long now. I’m not sitting on a metal bleacher for that. Experience gameday, atmosphere, etc then leave at halftime and catch the 4th quater on the lazyboy. I love my routine.

Definitely look into the Rally Bus but I would stay in NO especially if it's a 2:30 game. It's only 60 miles LSU to the French Quarter. You might get back 10:30 ish in time to enjoy Bourbon St..

Don't go to either. Go to Camellia grill. Ask for a seat on the right side with Michael.

Then you better hope Auburn beats Florida next weekend. Because if not, then LSU and Florida will both be ranked in the top 8 and CBS is almost guaranteed to pick that game. If Florida loses to AU, then CBS would have a decision between LSU-UF or Bama-A&M

Can i like this twice. (Streets named after presidents) add to that streets named after states.

When my sons started driving, I told them that if they were lost in BR and the street was a number, a State or an Indian name to get out of the area fast!

Sure view is great. Food is "stadium food" but free. Clean restrooms. Not over crowded. Plenty of room to spread out. Elevators take you right to the top. You can do down to south end zone for additional concessions if you want more selection.

Its not up to Scott. Its up to CBS, end of story. Its not up to Greg Stanky either. The SEC sold the rights to CBS. They paid and continue to pay millions of dollars so that they can hand pick what games they want to air and when.

As others have said, it's very likely that will be a day game. The game is in late Oct. so the weather COULD be pleasant, but you'll still probably want to avoid the sun which means you'll want to sit on the West sideline if possible. Try not to sit in the upperdecks. (1) That's where many of the visiting team's fans will sit and (2) you won't get the full experience of the crowd noise up there.

If I were CBS, I would take a O or 1 loss LSU Vs a 1 loss Auburn over an undefeated Alabama Vs 500 A&M - end of story.

LSU Auburn is a better match up. It is a historic match up. Both teams are playing the best football they have played in what a 5 or 6 years.

Get ready, the game is going to be at 2:30. Bring your sunscreen and mimosas.
