Driving to BR early sat morning. Have seen a lot of first timers getting advice the past couple weeks. Was wondering if yall thought it would be better to try to find parking or get an uber/lyft from the hotel and then back after the game??

Staying at the embassy suites on Constitution Ave

Lifetime Tiger fan, family moved to north Mississippi when i was 12. Been to a lot of LSU games but all in oxford and starkville. Ready to take it all in Saturday night!

You should be able to get free parking in the Haylot behind the Baseball stadium unless you're very late.

Uber works too, but plan on a couple of hours to get back home either way.

Enjoy it!

Have you asked the Embassy Suites people if they provide shuttle service to the game?

Just Uber if you plan on drinking. Takes the pressure off of driving, but if you are carrying a bunch of things with you that you need to store during the game, you may have to drive.

Get ready for a night you’ll forever remember.

Definitely drive and park.
Since it’s personal to you, I’m sure you’ll be around campus super early anyway.

Park in front of the law school (facing U High side) around 11. It’s free and first come first serve. After the game it’s a cinch to get out of campus via Dalrymple.
Walk to Chimes for lunch.
Gift shop across the street after.
Book store by law school after that.
Walk through the parade grounds and by the Indian mounds down to visit Mike’s cage.
Hit up other gift shop by Mike.
Get some snacks and hang out in front of PMAC.
Watch band and players come down victory hill at approx. 4:35.
Start walking to seats at 5:00.
Pee
Concessions
Pregame (best part outside the actual game) starts at 5:45.

It'll be a blast! I'm sure there are plenty of other good suggestions on here but we always park on Nicholson north of the stadium. Parking in any of those lots will cost you $20-$30 and is about a 15 minute walk to the stadium. It's a breeze to get out of there so you'd be back to your hotel in no time.

for your location, I am going to recommend Acadian/Stanford (from I-10 or College/Perkins), then:
- right on W. Lakeshore Dr.
- left on E. Parker Blvd.

then right into one of the Ag lots BEFORE you get to Highland Road.

Nobody else needs to take this advice. It is my go-to lot, and I don't need all of y'all parking there. Just me and this guy!

First off, four posts in over two years is an impressive lurking resume. Keep up the good work!

Secondly, if you plan on drinking all day, take Uber/Lyft to and from campus. If you're not drinking, parking at the law school or Ag lot is always a good bet.

Have fun!

Whatever you do, do NOT miss:

(1) The Band marching down Victory Hill at approximately 4:30 (but you can line up earlier). TGBFTL stops during their march to play Pregame at about even where the campus-side ramp on the PMAC starts.
The team walks down before that.

(2) Pregame inside the stadium. Get to your seats no later than 5:20-5:30. It's the best pregame in the country.

The "hayfield" is where there's always free parking on GameDays, just type in "LSU Tennis Center" into maps and it'll take you right to them. There's a few dozen acres of free parking in the grass lots and they'll never fill up. Plus there's shuttle buses constantly going to and from the stadium around the area that are free to hop on/off of.
