Auburn went 2-1 against those two teams last season. Is Auburn worse this year? Did those two teams get that much better than Auburn somehow?
maybe not UGA, but Bama absolutely got better with tua.

Good test for them this weekend against aTm

Bama is just on another level on offense

Than Auburn?

Bama has played:

Louisville
Biggest game besides Bama was a 20-17 win over Western Kentucky.

Arkansas State
Who did beat Tulsa 29-20. A bigger margin than Hotlips was able to manage at home. But it's still Ark St.

Ole Miss
Which looked impressive. Gave up 27 to Tx Tech and 41 to Southern Illinois. SIU's points weren't garbage time either, they led OM 38-35 at halftime.

So yes, Bama has looked like an NFL team but I think it may be a little early to anoint them better offensively than Auburn who has played a much tougher schedule.

You may be right and perhaps I'm overreacting to Tua. They just pass the eyeball test to me with that WR and the returning RB. There's some good SEC games shaping up on the schedule to come for all of these teams we're discussing. It's going to be a hell of a race to Atlanta.

Give UCLA a definite F too as a matter of fact. Aren't they 0-3? With Chip Kelly there that is an absolute embarrassment.

That's a pretty high bar just to allow yourself to enjoy the moment.

Or at least allow the rest of us to.

Well, not only do they pass the eyeball test, but Bama and Ga are both ranked higher than AU and Mia.... so our toughest games are still in front, but played at home. Let's hope the team stays focused on each game and does not look ahead.

It's not even a question. Who they played is irrelevant, their offense is basically seeing records at the moment.

You do realize that looking like you can beat Alabama is not the criteria for getting good marks, right?

LSU played 2 teams that were ranked higher, and were expected to beat them. They played one on a neutral field and won pretty decisively. They played the other on that team's home field (as a 10 pt dog) and won.

They also played a gimme, a local FCS team, at home, and didn't give up a pt. Didn't look great, but took care of business.

We're talking about a team not expected to be ranked in wk 2, now ranked #6. I'd say that's an A+

Ree. Serious question. What do you think of this holographic tiger?

Giant 3D Tiger Hologram

Can we get this into Tiger Stadium? Maybe park it outside the visitors locker room?

Hook us up, brah.

We will know more about them this weekend. A$M will be the first defense with a pulse they have faced.

I'm looking forward to that game. I hate when LSU plays at the same time as the good games on TV. I wanted to watch that A&M/Clemson game bad.

one thing i noticed about uga's schedule - they will come to b.r. relatively untested compared to lsu's schedule. think about this, the toughest opponent they will have played was @scar. it's possible lsu will have played 3 teams better than that, fla, miami and auburn, ALL ON THE ROAD.

if it's a dogfight , lsu will definitely be the more battle tested team.

Will be interesting for sure. UGAs defense has been merely good, as opposed to last year when it was great, and LSU is giving up 93 yards a game on the ground and is giving up 2.45 YPC just barely edging out Auburn and Miss State to lead the conference.

having said that, I was asking about alabama not georgia

I think the team should receive an A for last Saturday's game. But the Miami and SE Louisiana games left a lot to be desired.

Maybe a B for the Miami game but nothing over a C for the SE game.
