Mississipi state in 1992. It was the same day Michigan played notes dame. We started drinking very early. A few of my buddies were big ND fans. They had a party and we were doing shots of Irish whiskey. At game time we were trashed. In the third quarter one of my buddies, jules, who had been drinking with me all day disappeared. We figured he went home. Game ends...we go to the Chimes...still no Jules....after a late night of drinking we head home....around 3:00, I get a call from Jules room ate....Jules is not back yet.

It turns out Jules passed out in the bathroom...slept there until about 4:00 am...had to get security to let him out of an empty Tiger stadium...we still laugh about it all the time...one of the most fun nights of my life!

LSU-Florida 1995-ish. I was around 16. Had a family member that worked in the athletic department and she gave me and my buddy field passes. It was an unreal experience. I've been a Tiger ever since - 29 now, class of '07, and bleed purple and gold.

LSU 61 Ole Miss 17 December 1970. Archie Manning played with a cast on his left arm. Tommy Casanova knocked him out in the 3rd quarter and he was carried off on a stretcher to a chorus of "We want Archie" from the LSU fans.

1997 Florida. Only time I have ever set foot on the field. My friend patted Kevin Faulk on the back. It was so crazy the pat is my only clear memory of rushing the field.

I entered LSU in 1954 after 6 years in the Navy and promised myself no more booze, no more broads and no more grab arse---just study, study, study. Started hanging out with a bunch of fellow Korean War vets who dragged me to my first game in Tiger Stadium. First home game of the season. Place was half empty. They called the newly-closed off double deck section of the stadium the Stadium-Library and it was empty too. Everyone said they would never ever fill it up. I knew it wasn’t going to be a great evening when the booed the coach (Tinsley) when he entered the stadium. We were playing Alabama who was quarterbacked by some kid name Burt Stark or something. They won, even though he looked like shite. The vets—making up for lost time—made more noise and had more fun that anyone in the stadium. I’ve been hooked ever since.

Fact: My father has not miss a home LSU game since 1952. He has been a season ticket holder since 1953. He still goes to all home games at the age of 86.
