There's not enough money in the world to make Peterson come to LSU. lol Get that one right out of your little pea brains.

That's because on the national scene and among his peers(which is where most of the media gets the info to form their opinions of coaches) consider him a complete idiot and know that he has underperformed with cards he's been dealt.
This is a complete fabrication and total bullshite. Coaching is a close knit fraternity. Those guys don't talk about each other in a negative way to the media. Also, LSU has a bunch of very good assistants that had their choice of jobs and chose to work under Les.

Nice sig quote

Not much of a stretch to think that considering.....

Come on you guys really need to pull up some old videos of the Hallman/Archer/Dinardo years and be thankful we are loaded with talent and go to bowls every year.

Sad that we have to persuade these youngins to watch "old videos" from a mere decade and a half ago.

Then again, I don't need to watch old videos to remember how totally effin awesome Jamie Howard was. His fearless downfield throws are forever seared into my long term memory. Ergo, I'm now 100% in favor of starting Jarret "Walking Pick Six" Lee. He deserve a chance to tie or break Jamie Howard's record for most pick sixes in one game.

IF Miles goes 10-2, then he will have done something right with the offense that we have not seen thus far....if he goes 10-2, he does not get fired....

saban wasn't scared by high expectations at bama nor was mayere at uf. the big time coaches have huge egos and think they will be a good job no matter what.

If and when the time comes to hire another head coach of the calibur that LSU needs, wants and deserves, he WILL NOT be scared off by high expectations. Any that ARE, aren't LSU material in the first place. Plus, I can think of another 3.75 - 4 million reasons $$$$$ why many will be attracted to the job......

they will be scared off at what LSU fans did to a coach averaging 10 wins a season.

LSU has a saban problem. more than half of the LSU fanbase loves nicholas. like marrying a chick who still wants to frick her ex-husband.

yep a lot of money. but coaches don't want 4 year retirement.

Lets say Miles has a 9-3 or possibly a 10-2 season, and still gets fired (or resigns) this year or the next

Regardless of how inept Miles appears at times, there is no justification to fire a 10-2 coach. The offensive coordinator definitely...not the HC. Nebraska fired Zolich after a 9-4 season and you see how long it took them to be relevant again.

If LSU could raise him 250%, I disagree. Mrs. Peterson might have something to say about that one.

Miles will not be fired after this season if he goes 8-4.

Other coaches around the country are confident that they can do Les Miles' job as well as he does. Coaches are cocky that way.

+1..should not be a concern, not anymore.. besides,

behind the scene,
I am sure that the other coaches have noticed the blunders..and would not LSU accountable, not to mention a 3 MM + position for a winning coach.

Sure it would scare coaches off.

Everyone knows that places like LSU, UF, Alabama, and the like are places where you go to get job security. If you fire Les, that will tell everyone that your job isn't secure at LSU and that's not the place to go.
