There's just so many of them. Practically every game I watch has an ex-LSU player at a visible position.

The downside of being 'elite' I guess.

I wonder how good a team would be with just ex Lsu players...from any time period..

Makes it much harder to decide which team to root for when there are LSU playes on both.

The NFL it's the saints then LSU players. I root for the players to do well, not necessarily their team to win.

Ron Brooks did well and had an interception for the Bills last week. Trindon's Holliday had a TD for Texans also.

Too difficult to keep up with. Agree with wanting former players to do well and not necessarily their teams.

Disregarding your caveat of any time period, just in this current period we could field a great starting lineup...minus the QB position. The book is still out on Flynn as an every week starting QB.

QB - Flynn?
RB - Ridley
FB - Hester
WR - Lafell
WR - Randle
LT - Whitworth
LG - Peterman
C - McClure
RG - Faneca
RT - Barksdale
TE - Royal

DE - T. Jackson
DT - Dorsey
DT - Nevis
DE - J. Green
LB - Sheppard
LB - James
LB - Baker
CB - Webster
CB - Peterson
S - Taylor
S - Landry

LSUSports.net has a list of Tigers in the NFL. During the regular season they do their best to track stats for these players on a weekly basis.

I love Dorsey and Nevis, but Kyle Williams is a pro bowler and Ricky Jean-Francois is actually playing better than both of those guys too.

Perry Riley over Ryan Baker too.

You are right. I remember when there was only a handful. Seems like every team I watch now there is an ex LSU player. Was watching Seattle and Tennessee last night and there were LSU players all over the field.

This is the very reason I really don't pull for a certain NFL team as much as I pull for teams because of certain players.
