If I saw some pos knock out some guy in front of his kids for asking him to stop cussing in front of the kids I’d have to jump in and help out the dad being a dad.
You win some you lose some but I’d defend him and probably walk away or been carted away with bloody knuckles. I have just the right amount of trash in my blood

It sounds like the other men kept spilling beer on his wife. Charges will be dropped and he will probably receive a promotion.

I saw the whole thing from start to finish. The off duty copy stood up at some point, told the Dad “I’ll slap the frick oucha” , then challenged him to come down to the portal to fight.
The Dad had his whole family there, didn’t move. The off duty cop, unsatisfied with him unsuccessfully goading the Dad to “stepping outside” to the portal, came back to the seats, and hit him with a straight right hand in front of his family. As you can imagine, the Dad’s kids were crying and shook up.
After the fight in the portal, the off duty cop was high fiving all the brothers in the concession stand like he was proud of what he did.
If LSP slaps him on the wrist, then shame on them. Given their casual relationship with integrity in the past, that’s what they’ll do.

Also, the arresting officer on the scene was a black guy from EBR Sheriff. So, everyone chirping about him being arrested just because he’s black is dead wrong.

Wow!! I saw and tried to help break up the fight. That “cop” is 100% the dude, he fuxked up the other guy. It was a nasty scene and thank god some army/navy reserves were working the concessions stand, because it took several to hold each dude back after. I thought the white guy was the problem, because he was livid trying to go back at the other guy. Totally understand why now and would have been the same way. The black dude even went back into the stands/out the concourse, till the sheriffs showed up. They eventually went and got him. The other guy was bleeding and wrecked, I feel terrible for him now knowing all he was trying to do was protect his family. Also, makes sense why so many people were hanging around and giving statements to the cops, in support of the bleeding dad.
Glad to see POS was arrested, doesn’t look like the other dude was. All I can say is it was very intense for the 5 mins the action. I hope the black cop loses his job and faces full extent of punishment.

There were tons of witnesses giving their statements. I don’t think this cop getting away with this.
