What an unnecessarily somber, morose prig you are.

Thats right. But now Squatting Dog and company are fired up and out to exact some revenge on the irreverant white man. Keep your children away from the mounds lest they be sucked into your flatscreen Saturday night.

LSU is for kids as well as adults, moron. If I didn't go to LSU's campus so much when I was little, having fun, I wouldn't be as into it now as an adult.

"Moron" is not bad language.

"Wolf Shirt is a posing dumbass," might be considered bad language though.

Last year i took my then 5 yearold to her first LSU game, and letting her run up and down the mounds a few times was part of her initiation into gameday life.

I am planning on taking my 4 yearold to the Tulane game for her first game, and she already asked if she can run up the Indian Mounds.

It's a rite of passage for future tiger fans....

Hopefully it's just a tempory reason they are fencing off the mounds......

Sounds like LSU is beginning to change a hell of alot.

It all started with the BIG money with season tickets and the west end zone being built.

Greed kills tradition!!!

Remember this.

Do we really know the whole story. Is there too much pressure on the grass. I walked by there last game and wondered what do a bunch of kids and grownups climbing and rolling on those hills do to their condition. I know children have been doing it for years, but not in those numbers. The same can be said to walking on the roots of the oak trees. That continues even though people have been asked to avoid them. If you want to know how considerate the crowd is look at the debris after the game. It is embarrassing and makes you wonder who does that, especially with trash cans made readily available. I am not a prude. I have had more than my share of fun before, during, and after LSU football games for many years, but I have noticed a definite difference in the attitude of our fans toward the well being of the campus. Go ahead and take your shots.

Totally agree with that post. Hopefully some reasonable explanation for "temp" fences.
But the amount of trash/garbage on campus left on the ground and not in the cans they GIVE YOU to use after games is inexcusable.
