The benefits of that formation after taking the delay of game were nil. No one on earth expected them to go for it, and the bad snap led to the block. Terrible coaching.

#54 is one of the worst offensive tackles I've seen at any level. Dude is getting abused left and right. Let his guy block the punt but then ran up field like it got off clean.

How has he been the rest of the game. I've been watching last 3 series and while you can see the promise, he doesn't look to have much vision to me. Is their OL just awful?

Do you guys honestly think he would be ranked so high if he didn't have vision ?? The nerve of some of you. His damn O-line is getting crushed. He only has one wide out that can get open and the defense is keying on him.

I missed the first half, but it sounds like he did pretty well. Second half his offensive line has not helped him out. Plus too many stupid mistakes. Spartanburg is very good. SC State AAAA champs last year, and should repeat this year. Almost always a powerhouse.

It seems like Spartanburg offense is more creative and uses lots of misdirection... Franks offense is him dropping back trying to throw deep balls and getting harassed by defenders... I haven't been watching too long though

Spartanburg has a very good coach. Used to coach at Byrnes High where Marcus Lattimore played. Good offensive system and an excellent play caller.
