The story from the beginning was that Faulk, despite the opportunity to raise his stock and be drafted fairly high next year, was more worried about getting hurt again and being injured thus forcing him to go undrafted.

He basically ensured that his worst fear came true. It is the definition of a bad decision and it cost him money and perhaps made his chances of making a team a whole lot harder.

Who is to say he even makes it on someone's practice squad or roster...

Whose to say he will not? You?

I wish him the best cause he's a tiger. I'm guessing the agent will now pay for the rest of his rehab & will collect from Faulk's contract if he makes the team?

Yeah, because agents are generous like that. It's not like he has Rosenhaus as an agent.

He probably he has a schmoe lawyer from BR or Lafayette to represent him.

I wish him well but it was a dumb decision.

sure, he just has to pay for his education now

I know with some of these guys that come out early they work it into their contract that the organization they are playing for will pay for them to finish school. Not saying it will happen with Faulk but there is a possibility. Hopefully it will be something they look into.

that's usually a baseball thing, I'm not sure with the NFL salary cap that's allowed

I would think rehab is still done by LSU for him. If a senior gets injured in his last career game, his surgery and rehab costs would still be covered.

Great! I wonder for how long? Probably until the end of the players annual scholarship renewal.

Hope things work out for him.

My bad. Baseball is what I was referring to. I meant to put that in there but for some reason didn't. I was wanting to see if any of you knew if football was the same as baseball. Thanks for the reply.

I think he lost confidence in the offensive direction at LSU.

That's would pretty much be the only thing that would make his decision look even worse.
