Yeah we all know it will be running back by committee this year. But, as in the past, someone steps up their game to stand out. Which of our 3 guys floats to the top and why? For me it’s Curry. I hope Emory steps his game up though

In my opinion it’s curry but who knows. Last year we were saying how emery or Davis-Price would eventually take over Clyde spot and look how that turned out. You really never know but I would assume one of those guys break from the pack.

I think it'll be Davis-Price followed by Curry. No doubt Emery will be involved but I think it's those 2 that will get the first shot at it. He just was involved more than the other two backs last year. That's not a shot at anyone of them, they're all great backs.

To be honest, I'm surprised he didn't get in the National Championship game but considering what was being played for, O had to go with CEH.

Chris Curry is the lead back but Davis-Price is the real deal.

Emery will be a beast after his eye surgery!

Legally blind in one eye in 2019, he’s pumped for 2020

Is this for real? I'm not flaming, really asking. The guy looks to be extremely talented. He did have a lot of dropped passes though in practice and in the games he played in. That's not a shot at him, just an observation.

I mean Dwayne Bowe had the same surgery and afterwards he was unstoppable.

I think they'll both be heavily used. I agree with you.

People forget Curry was 5th string thru week 4 or 5.

Then 4th string until the semi final after Lanard left

I think he’s a solid RB3. I’m not sure his feet eat against good defenses like the other 2 will. The other two are far & away more talented

Agree. As long as ball security isn’t an issue, I don’t see how he doesn’t get the most carries aside from the short yardage carries.

He’s frankly the most dynamic and multi-dimensional runner. The other 2 are one-cut downhill runners

Who’s the most beloved 3rd stringer in LSU history? Emery or Lindsey Scott?

If one of the guys “floats to the top” it would be because they have improved as a receiver but I think more likely scenario is TDP and Emory sharing the load as 1A and 1B with the Offense running the ball more this year.

I remember Emery missing a block on a blitz and Joe getting pissed off. We didn’t see a lot of him on the field with Joe after that for several games.

I think Curry understands the pass protection portion of the running backs job better than the freshman did and that’s why he played against Oklahoma.

The player that best understands pass protection and understands the offense will play more, even if they aren’t the most talented pure runner.

I would think we will run the ball much more this year than last simply due to Brennon being a first year starter. It won’t be as much as Les Miles ran the ball but more than last year.
