Bryant Denny is nice.
Kyle Field is nice but lacks character big time for a place that’s big on tradition.
Oklahoma is cool. Lot of character and history that they preserve and pay homage to.
Arkansas is nicer than most realize. Pretty solid.

I’ve been to:
UGA
UF
USC
Auburn
Tenn
A&M
Vandy
Bama
My favorite is UGA, but that may be because of Athens being a nice place to visit. But the stadium is nice. Good view from most seats.
A&M-everyone is very polite to visitors.
Tenn campus is beautiful and the river adds to the scene.
Ole Miss- we were offered hospitality at several tents in the Grove, but it’s crowded and no onsite cooking. So mostly burgers or chicken fingers in steam pans. But lots to drink.
Bama- also pretty polite to us. We ate lunch downtown before going to campus. Tuscaloosa has a nice commercial area that’s been converted for entertainment. But concessions and bathrooms in Bryant Denny are worse than Tiger Stadium! Very long lines.
Vandy is really a trip to Nashville. The stadium is small, so no bad seats, but not enough concessions for an LSU crowd.
Auburn was ok. The eagle soaring in pregame is pretty cool.
USC had good tailgating but it’s off-campus. Not a bad thing, just different.
UF-the worst. No redeeming qualities.
Some of these stadiums, upper deck seats can be very high: Tenn, Bama, A&M.
But, overall, UGA is my favorite road trip.

quote:Tiger Stadium in a Perfect Storm. TS with perfect weather, against a big SEC opponent, at night, in the first half, with a lead!...................... It's so maddening to see the fricking destruction of the in-game atmosphere by the "Delicate Geniesus." (LSUAD) They priced out many of the long time die hards and replaced them with "Corporate" season tickets. (Many of these "Corporate" attendees are given free tickets, have no connection to the University or Football Program and don't GAS) Going to an LSU game is just "Something to Do" on a Saturday Night. There's no emotional connection and they bail at half-time.................It gets worse. For some mysterious reason,
Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night.

Other than LSU:
1) Texas A&M
2) Florida
3) Oklahoma
4) Mississippi State
5) Ole Miss
There's clear separation on good ones and bad ones. Oklahoma this year was fun, no expectations and the fans were very friendly. Ole Miss I have to go back to , I went in 2010 when they went 2-10 so it's not a fair showing for their scene I know. I have Tennessee and possibly Kentucky on the radar for next year. Texas A&M in 2024 was a fantastic atmosphere.

Top road trip - Auburn...always a full house, enjoy their fans and love the campus. Spend the weekend on Lake Martin. Great trip every time win or lose.
Second Place - Athens. Great stadium, great atmosphere outside the stadium in the downtown area. Just an awesome trip. Would be pushing for first with Auburn if it were closer.
The rest are just trips with good and bad.
Personally I like Starkville - small intimate stadium...easy to get in and out. Short trip from BTR area. Relaxed atmosphere with good people. Will go every time we play there.
Kentucky and Knoxville are both good trips. Very unique scene in Knoxville with stadium on river. Rocky Top gets old. Fans are a little much. Stadium feels massive. Kentucky feels like MS State stadium.. Intimate and smaller feeling. Great fans. Absolutely phenomenal scenery with all the horse farms and landscape in the area driving in. Bourbon trail nice if that's your thing. Long long drive from home
Vandy is like attending a game in Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge.
Ole Miss is a lot of arrogance even back when they never won much. Grove is cool the first time then after that it is just everyone in essentially one place on campus. It is an easy trip but not the friendliest place.
Bama never been for game. Fantastic stadium and campus from just walking around it.
Missouri felt like a big high school but we were hammered on the way to Omaha and stopped in just to wander around a bit so could be completely wrong.
Arkansas in Little Rock is another Memorial Stadium experience. but i have heard that the Fayetteville experience is first class.
South Carolina is fun. Stadium is fun, fans were awesome people. Stadium is not on campus so did not see actual University. Its a long way from here but 100 percent worth a trip at least once.
That's all i got
