False but ok!
look, I know you turn red anytime someone mentions Flynn, but ask 100 LSU fans, or other football experts, how LSU would have done in 2007 with JJ at QB, everything else being equal...how do you think that would turn out?

Was it flynn's 3 ints vs Bama. Or his int to end the ark game or his abysmal Kentucky game that made him clutch?
it was his ability to overcome mistakes and still perform, something I don't recall JJ or Lee being able to do. Ohio State game is an example...the throw to Early on 4th down vs. Bama in the 4th quarter, the throws he made to even have LSU in the third overtime vs. Arky. Russell had this quality as well. Tenn, Ole Miss and Bama were all games where he made clutch plays late in close games where he had mistakes earlier.

Why would I turn red when Flynn is mentioned? Just educating. Flynn was avg at best at LSU.

You will obviously NEVER please some people. However, as far as QB play goes, 2007 was our last GREAT year.

So in 09 JJ had a higher qb rating than Flynn in 07 but 07 was our last great year of qb play? Flynn was not great.

Bert Jones....He was one tough SOB !

Stan Humphries. He was great! Oh, wait.

Who was that guy that looked like Matt Damon? He was by far my favorite!

Def the best QB as far as offensive productions (stats) go. I believe he and Josh Reed hold the record for most passing yds in a game against Alabama in '01. Right?

Nelson Stockley....he was a gamer.

Agreed...We had the 'Hodson for Heisman' thing going for a while and I think that just stuck.

Hodson was great. A four starter for the Tigers who was a fantastic leader. Hodson to Fuller is one of the greatest plays in Tiger history. Jones and YA Tittle who is in the hall of fame are my favorites.

Rohan, no doubt. The guy was a gamer. Tennessee game in 2000, it was amazing. Peach Bowl that same year, the guy was a leader.

Davey, then Flynn.
I honestly didn't mind Marcus Randall too much, either. He played hard and was responsible for quite a few memories (Hail Mary, win @ Florida in 2004, etc.).

I was at that game at Legion Field in 82'. Risher was clutch. Defense was fantastic. The Bear was done.
