2011 SEC Championship. Georgia fans were talking serious trash at halftime (to be fair, we looked terrible in the first half). Was with my brother and at halftime his friend, an orthopedic surgeon and huge UGA fan, met us and drunkenly insisted that I trade my seat in the lower corner for his seat in his suite so he could talk trash to my brother in the second half. So I show up just before the 3rd quarter in a suite full of UGA fans with this guy’s ticket and they’re wondering what I’m doing there. I explained to the guy’s wife, she rolls her eyes and says “I hate it when he drinks.” 2nd half begins and Tigers start dominating. My brother and I were seated in the corner of the dome where Mathieu ran the punt return in,4 rows from the field. Shortly after that I got a text from my brother saying his friend wanted his seat back. Met him on the concourse and it was glorious. He looked sober and pissed.
PS this was followed a month later by my least favorite LSU game experience... Watching the national championship game with my wife, Bama alum, then having to drive her to Academy Sports at midnight so she could buy a championship tshirt...we are now divorced

Been to a few big ones. Was at the Florida game in 97 and The auburn game with the Byrd catch to win in 2007. Between those 2.

2019 A&M-
A friend of mine who played football at A&M talked trash for a solid year after we "lost" to them in that OT debacle in 2018. I invited him to go with me to the game in 2019. We arrived in TD2 on Friday at 6:00, then went to Walk ons for supper, where he ran his mouth at the bar. During the entire weekend of tailgating, he trash-talked to me and all the Tiger fans he could find, explaining how the Aggies were gonna "punch our assholes" and how they beat our butts the year before.
THEN, the game started. The satisfaction of that butt-whipping was second to none. He wanted to leave by the beginning of the second quarter, but none of us would let him. Finally, at halftime, he went to the bathroom, and we never saw him again.
All I need to say now is FIDDY!

2019 Alabama! My greatest moment as a 50 plus year Tiger fan was walking to the concessions at BDS right after we took the 33-13 lead. So glad I went to that game.

This is a random one and I don't know why it sticks out to me
2012 vs South Carolina
Coming off the loss at Florida. #3 South Carolina coming in and us at #9
SCar 14, LSU 16... SCar with the ball 5:50 left in the 4th. 3rd and 11. That Sam Montgomery sack on the 20ish yard line. That play stands out to me so much. I don't know why. I remember Sam getting up and going ape shite.
Then they punt. Then 1st and 10 and Hill runs it in 50 yards for the dagger. And the place absolutely erupted.
I think that is one of the most underrated games in the Les Miles era. The place was absolutely electric during that game.
2012 was simply the year that could have been. Could have gotten a national championship that year to avenge 2011... all that was missing was TM7.
Second place would have to be Texas A&M - LSU this year with the Burreaux.

Near the end was the loudest I’ve ever heard the stadium from South Upper 19. Had to cover my ears because they were hurting.
I was there. Lower bowl. To this day, I still have trouble getting UGA folks who weren’t there to understand how truly loud it was (I thought the loudest moment was when Greene got hurt and Shockley was backed up deep in UGA territory).
The best way I can describe it is to say “imagine how loud Sanford Stadium is when UGA scores a TD. That was the BASELINE level of sustained noise for about 10 minutes.”

Even though the tigers lost...the LSU/USC game was the most anticipated game I've even seen at tiger staduum... the city was electric that week and the student section was packed 3 hours before the game even started...students started camping out Thursday night..
The irst time NOTRE DAME played in tiger stadium was a close second...
Third was the flying orange game that led to an orange bowl game

Non-title game...2007 beatdown of Va Tech, 48-7. Moving to Virginia and growing up there during the height of Vick’s run with all of the Va Tech bandwagon fans was insufferable. My first ever LSU game was that loss to Va Tech in Lane Stadium. Such a frustrating game. I actually joined this site when I got home from that game and made this user name
I was so pissed off that I needed to find a place to vent about that game. Runner up is the away game against West Virginia in 2011. Such an incredible weekend and badass experience outside of the game and at the game.
And then obviously the real winner is us dismantling Clemson this past January.

I was about 12 and my dad was offered 2 tickets for that game or the Saints game the next day and chose the Saints because it was a closer drive.
So instead of seeing an all time great game we got to see Heath Shuler get benched for Danny Wuerffel in a loss to the Falcons.
I still rib him over that on occasion.

vs Ole Miss 2014
Very underrated game. I remember that TD pass to Logan Stokes like it was yesterday and the place exploded. Rushing the field, taunting Ole Miss fans with their "land shark" gesture. Giving the Hugh Freeze the bird as we were in the Ole Miss tunnel walking out of the stadium. He looked right at when I said "HEY HUGH, Here's your corn dog (flipping him off). Great night
