During his Heisman speech when he was talking about the underprivileged kids in Athens, Ohio and said “this is for you, you could be up here.”
To be an absolute warrior and leader on the field for your team is one thing, but being one off the field, using the platform of an individual award to shine a light on the reality that there are kids in his hometown that go home from school with not a lot of food on the table says all you need to know about Joe’s heart.
It takes a hell of a man to share what’s on his heart in a room full of people. I bet every kid in America that tuned and heard him say that “he was up there for all the kids in that area that go home from school to not a lot of food on the table, that they could be up here too” felt those words and there will be kids motivated to be more kind. Because instead of some generic “thank you” Joe said what’s needed to be said for the greater good in front of the entire nation. He said he hoped he left a legacy of hard work and preparation, loyalty and dedication wherever he goes. Joe led by example knowing those that follow today, lead tomorrow.
Half a million in donations reached their food bank within a week of his speech, days before Christmas. Joe will do a lot of good for a lot of people. He’s about to be the top pick in the draft. 30-somethin mil rookie contract, along with a big signing bonus. I have a feeling kids in Athens and I’m sure elsewhere will have a little more food on the table thanks to Joe.

Sometimes I like to get hit, it reminds me I’m playing football and not just a quarterback

Joe Burrow, the graduate transfer from Ohio State, has chosen LSU over Cincinnati, he announced late Friday night via Twitter, adding himself to a hotly competitive starting quarterback battle.
"Excited to be playing in Death Valley next season. Ready to get to work,"he said in a 71-character tweet thatll make some LSU fans mistake May 18 as Christmas Day.

"I could throw the ball with my eyes closed and one of my receiver's would catch it". The drunken interview from Parden my Take. Epic!

In his last spring at Ohio State, he was talking to reorters about his competition with Haskins, and he was asked about it. He stated: "I know I am a good quarterback.". No further qualification or comparison of him vs Haskins. He, being completely confident, felt no need to explain or quantify.
