You'll never see the Whites at a WVU game. They would rather spend their money on drugs and booze and just waste any thing left.

My girlfriend was raised in Elkview. The Whites and Boone are not the only dirty places in the state.

I've been to four Eeer home games. The people were great to me. But it is a little dirtier atmosphere than BR and I did witness some hostility toward visiting fans.

One of the games I went to was Marshall and another was Louiville. That's when I saw some stuff. But I also went to a USF and a bullshite game against somebody terrible and did really witness as much hate.

West Virginia makes Knoxville, TN look like NYC.

There's bad areas and bad people in every state. I hope our fans get along fine, because I'd like to see WV in the SEC one day.

WOW!

A. WVU has never had a male baton thrower in the 40 plus years I've been a fan. I don't know where that came from.

B. Morgantown is in north central WV. In other words, a long way from the coal fields of southern WV where that movie comes from. Morgantown is 60 miles from Pitt, culturally diverse like any major university.

C. To find a beer around Mountaineer Field is easy. Just ask someone for one. And there are bars everywhere with 1 mile of the stadium.

D. Our fans have thrown batteries. Sadly. Also threw a garbage can off the top deck and hit Randy Shannon. Also, team buses have been rocked. Not lately, but it has happened.

Morgantown in the fall is spectacular. Mountaineer Field can be SEC like and against LSU on national TV on a Saturday fall, it will be SEC LIKE.

I'd take a few days if I was coming up. See the state. WV is like no other state with our Mountain ranges etc. It's beautiful.

Promise, the White's won't get ya.

You evidently didn't attend any West Virginia games last year. Nothing wrong with a male baton twirler, just unusual.

How many games have you been to?

Last year wasn't his first year. I saw him the year before in Morgantown.

LBsmash,

Trust me. We're coming. We brought 17,000 to Seattle. If I had to guess, we'll probably have half that many because lots of folks are going to Dallas first when we play Oregon. Our's is a mostly blue-collar fan base and we don't have a ton of money to travel everywhere the Tigahs go. Looking forward to a great game.

I can honestly say I've never seen a male baton guy. That's amazing.. however I'm generally kinda busy on game day not noticing such things.

I stand corrected.

i think 10,000 is reasonable. we have a lot of great road games this year. I'm going to dallas, morgantown, knoxville, oxford, and tuscaloosa.

Leading up to the game I'll put up a list of things to check out around Morgantown ie places to eat, etc..

September is a nice month. I think the weather will be a welcome change for you all. It won't be cold, but much less humid then you all are used to dealing with.

And I doubt seriously you'll have 10k. There won't be that many tickets available. The game will sell out fast. This is a big game for us on our home schedule. It's gonna be packed.

They only have a 60,000 seat stadium. No way we get that many in. This isn't Washington either. These ingrates love their team.

You are about 35,000 short of being SEC like.

I'm driving in the day of the game and driving right back out after it's over. Let's just say I'm not a big fan of West Virginians in general, which is a shame because the state is absolutely beautiful

That said, I've been told by a few WVU fans that live around here that word is out about how well the LSU fanbase treated them last year and that they plan to return the hospitality. They were very complimentary

I'd be more nervous of running into those west virginians from Wrong Turn.

No back roads if you're going to the game, please.

On a side note, I feel much better about our chances against you this year as opposed to last year.

Austin is back but the other two triplets are gone. You guys are revamping the offense, which will probably be better in the long run, but I expect some first year bugs.

Defensively, you've been shredded. You lost your top corner (not that he was that good), Sands who was your most NFL talented defensive player and the two big lineman which includes Neild who was one of the biggest keys to your ability to run the 3-3-5. Without solid DL play, that defense fall apart.

we travel very well, but I guess a lot of it depends on how many tickets yall give to the away team's fans. We will fill that and then get an extra 1000 or so in.
