I have a nephew who is a Virginia Tech grad coming to his game with a few friends. They are coming so my nephew can show them what a real special Saturday night in Death Valley is all about! The Aggies have their 12th man - we have 90,000 of those every week! Let's bring it - and please - if something goes wrong - DO Not turn on this team and the purple and gold colors that you wear! Keep cheering - keep the noise up - and do not let up! Remember when Georgia scored against us a few years back and Mark Richt expected the crowd to get silent...all he heard as soon as Georgia scored was LSU - LSU LSU LSU!!! We need to have the intensity and belief that we can do it!!

Actually there was a Tiger Rag article a couple of weeks ago that stated, officially, since 2007, at least, that there hasn't been 90,000 actual bodies in Tiger Stadium...the highest was about 89,700 for Florida a few years ago.

That having been said, it is time for that to change. If you have a ticket, come to the game. If you have a ticket and are a nega-tiger, sell it to someone who wants to see the game.

I have said it in a couple other threads like it this week...but it bears repeating:

It is time for the so-called "greatest fans in college football" to nut up or shut up.

Traveling in from N. Texas for the game.

Was in the student section for the '79 USCw game & watched a vastly superior team get taken to the wire in large part due to the TS noise.

Talent is much more even in this game, so the stadium atmosphere could make the difference.
