Thompson very clearly had great movement patterns, just needed reps & he got some great ones last year, and I’m sure all offseason

I'm not good as you Scuba but I had Thompson striking out once. I have D. Fontenot throwing 5 strike outs, 2 in the first, 1 in the second and 2 in the third.

Priester is not an outfielder and I doubt he will be here in January. Gio will be pushed by Drost, Pearson, and others but not by Priester, IMO.

Yeah, but that disappointment came prior to him even meeting with Johnson and decommitting from JUCO to sign with LSU.
Just reading the tea leaves; if what has been said is true that he leaves after the fall if he isn’t where he wants to be on the roster, then I think the deal from Johnson must have been, sign with LSU, compete in the fall, and if you aren’t 1 or 2 on the depth chart and decide college isn’t for you, then transfer to a JUCO, play in the spring and re-enter the draft next summer.
The past couple games his bat is starting to come around some and he doesn’t look completely lost at the plate. Now behind the plate is a different story. He looks completely lost there and I’m not sure the fall will be enough time to improve and show he can handle the position from a defensive standpoint. None of the catchers outside of Milazzo have looked good defensively.
