Cabrera is starting to appear more human.

Slaughter with another 108 mph off the bat. Kid can swing it.

Ok, fine. Watson might not hit 9th. It wasn't a slight on him at all. We're going to need someone to turn the order and/or produce down there.

Cabrera is cooling off. I'd imagine most of the newcomers are wearing down. The vets are just heating up.

Another good showing for Smith in the leadoff spot. Very interesting. His plate discipline was spotty last year but he was green as grass.

Good to see the starters winning when they should, no matter who's pitching. Hopefully that translates into week day success next year...not that week day games are be all/end all but I will enjoy getting back to whipping the teams that we should.

I need to go back and catalog all those bat speed tweets. We've had some impressive ones. I get irrationally excited when I see them tweet something.

I'd like to see him in the leadoff spot permanently.

High OBP, walks more than he strikes out, he might have the highest pitches per plate appearance (for last season and the summer) of the returning starters, but I'd have to check. He really lit up the Cape league too.

I'm not opposed to Smith anywhere in the order either. I wasn't aware of those stats about him. I just felt like he hacked away alot last year, but also grew up tremendously.

Slaughter was hit in two consecutive AB's on the same leg. He was very upset hobbling to the dugout afterwards. He did return to play the rest of the scrimmage today.

I’d like to see Smith and Duplantis in the 2 and 3 home respectively. Maybe Watson can turn into that lead off guy.

Watson has too much RBI potential to be there, IMO. GOATbrera will come around. Ye of little faith.

Any way we could get a lefty-rightly alternation through the batting order?

I actually would like to see Cabrera around the heart of the order with his power depending on where Feduccia slides in
