LSU should not have lost to Tennessee when leading by 3 scores at halftime (2005)
LSU should not have to comeback and rally for 28 points to beat Troy (2008)
LSU should not have lost to Ole Miss in the infamous 2009 "clock it" game.
Also, we should have beaten Penn State and Clemson in those bowl games.
Good teams lose to bad ones all the mother fricking time. Even Nick fricking Saban. If you want to fricking bring up every god damn grievance from the best era of football LSU has ever had, than be my fricking guest.
Criticize them for State, for 21-0, for Jordan Jefferson, but Tennessee in 2005? Reevaluate your life you petty dick.

wow you really are a petty dick.
so youre still pouting about a game 9 years ago, to a top 10 team, the first game after katrina and rita, when players had their lives turned upside down and people like JaMarcus had 20 relatives in his apartment because they lost their homes? and if dealing with all of that wasnt exhausting enough, that game followed an unplanned road trip to arizona.
and you actually dont understand why LSU ran out of steam in the second half? you honestly cant think of a reason other than to blame Miles?
why not?
good coaches frick up all the time. jesus, i cannot imagine the meltdown if we had been 1 game from a title, then tried a 57-yard field goal at the end of a tie game, which our kicker had no chance of making, and then let the other team run the miss back 100 yards. oh but it was some other coach who did that so its no big deal.
why? those were good teams and bowls are dumb.
where does this fantasy come from that we coast along because of some gaudy embarrassment of pure talent? what is that based on? certainly not our recruiting rankings, or the players we put in the NFL. so why do you people keep saying it? yes, we're good, we do clearly have some great players, but no more so than any other top 10 program.

Too much talent on the sidelines and in this state to have those inexcusable losses.

You are a terrible fan.
Why? Because we were better than them and if you watched the game you would have asked a dumb question.

My biggest gripe is Miles being paid 4 million a year and when his team gets blown out by ANY team it is unacceptable. A man making that kind of money is not entitled to put that embarrassing product on the field. You can give every excuse in the book (youth/inexperience...) but when you are one of the highest paid CEOs/coaches/managers you are held to a higher standard. The Miles die-hards can't even bring themselves to agree with OBVIOUS deficiencies in the program with his dated style of coaching. He is capable of winning games with the old-school style of coaching combined with tons of talent (that he recruited), but it reminds me of a good big 10 program in this millennium that can't beat teams with quality Dlines. Miles MUST adapt/improve and demand a more open offense or the fans will stay divided.

You're right, we should accept mediocrity and smile as we fade into obscurity. It can't be that bad, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Miss St. Seem to be happy with crappy bowl games and never getting to Atlanta. Why is it so wrong to point out serious flaws on this board?

So it's perfectly fine to trail Troy by 28 points in Tiger Stadium and lose to an inferior Clemson team in Atlanta. Wow.
LSU dominated Tennessee in that first half in 2005. Inexcusable to lose that game. And the Dooley 12 men on the field faux pas. We should have not won that game either.

REAL FANS are in REALITY. They want to win, the pay for the tickets and go to the games as I have since 1961. They have the RIGHT to their opinions and thoughts even though they may not sugar coat the opinions. TRUTH IS TRUTH unless you are a democrat.

The rant "tiger fan base" is full of whiners.
True as it may be, they don't like to be called out like this.
