This was a jindal frick up, not sure why he was appointed, from my vague recollection I think his purpose was to spearhead getting the new hospital deal pushed through. Since this is a governor appointed position, our best hope is getting rid of JBE in November and the replacement making a strong hire.

JF was pretty much SSD (Signed, sealed and delivered) in 2015 and FKA killed it, yet he's still employed as University President because not enough people care enough about him still being University President.

Total operating revenue in the LSU budget for 2018-2019, is over 1 billion dollars, the funds transferred to the general fund by athletics is almost like a rounding error, it would make little difference in the operation of the university if discontinued.
