We just aren’t talented enough to overcome good defense and when teams take KJ out of the game with hard doubles or fronting, our O is putrid. Coach McMahon has to get some talent in here before I make any kind of judgment on him or the future of the program.

It’s not just LSU, so many teams are filled with players that can’t shoot with accuracy.
These boys play all their life, AAU, high school, ect, yet can shoot. Always looks like a bunch of chaos on the floor.

Based on what? I think McMahon is an excellent coach. He did an excellent job throwing a class together and did well in transfer portal. That said, his current recruiting class is putrid and there are basically no highly rated guys still available. The next couple of years will be rough.

Next season will be determined on how well they do in the transfer portal and how players like Reed and Ward develop during the offseason.
I'll be blunt but I don't see Reed developing quick enough this season to have the impact we need/want. He needs way more time.

Three games ago I thought this team was much better than the 8th place SEC prediction they got at the beginning of the season. Now I don’t think it’s low enough.
