That sure doesn’t align with alleva feeling confident they had plenty of evidence to fire les with cause.

It’s almost like f king is a lying sack of shite ;)

Imagine being an academic President that hates sports and throwing a blind eye to a scandal because it involved sports and overruling your AD. What a hypocrite.

Imagine that and still keeping your current job.

The lack of leadership between Alexander and Alleva is truly incredible for a university like Louisiana State.

That’s the type of next-level thinking the LSU leadership needs to adopt

Les, F King, Bobby Jindal, JBE and a whole host of liberal administrators who are polluting the minds of our LSU students all need to be exposed and removed. Let’s start a “Bring Back the Ole War Skule” with a fundraising goal of $1B. We are better than having to put up with all the BS we have put up with over the last several years. We need sound, common sense leadership at all levels at LSU and in our state. A leadership that closely aligns with the competitive spirit, values and dreams of our population. A Flagship University we can be proud of on the field and in the classroom.

I'm not sure that even qualifies as CYA. That's a pitiful response. Everyone knows it was F King who SAVED Les's job in 2015.

This. I understand that Alleva reported to Alexander but Alleva should have never abdicated his responsibilities to Alexander. If Alleva wanted Miles fired he should have made the case so tight that there was no chance of Alexander overruling him without Alexander taking full responsibility for Miles staying.

Looking back it sounds like they were trying to keep this situation on the down low and sweep it under the rug.

F. King was the worst LSU president maybe ever. Can we now get rid of the "Fierce for the Future" campaign? Man, that's terrible.

my issue with alleva is he gave miles the extension only 3 months before recommending his firing. you're telling me he hadn't heard any of these concerns before then?
