Never said. Just pointing out state law. None the less, the boards request of Alexander had the full fledged support of the governor and Lipsey. A quorum or not, he got the message loud and clear.

An Emmert was assured by then Gov Foster, that he had the support of the BOS to hire Saban from MSU. The BOS does what the Gov wants done. End of story. F King lost hus BOS support in June 2018. That's when JBE'S appointees tok control of the BOS.
