Not overpowering or elite stuff yet that I’ve seen so far….you can definitely see the experience in working out of jams and keeping his composure….

Fastball doesn’t have a lot of movement. He needs to keep it out of the middle of the plate.

He apparently likes to use the splitter quite a bit. I wonder whether he could develop a cutter to go with it.

I don't understand why some of yall feel the need to make judgements off of these games. We do this every year. This is essentially a scrimmage. We won't know what we have in many of these players for another 2-3 months. It's okay to wait and see before saying stupid shite

He's pitching exactly to what his scouting report said too. Strike thrower, does not get a ton of swing and miss.
He's given up some contact but has also had some ugly swings and some K's. He has gotten to 2 strikes a bunch.
This is a good 1st outing
