Extra motivation for Kelly

So the last three coaches at LSU won a championship- Kelly is better than the last two. He knows that if he gives this all that he has, a natty is not just attainable but likely. I believe that is why everything is already in fast forward.

Yes, it’s no secret that the main reason Kelly came here other than lots of money is the opportunity to win that championship that’s eluded him.

Kelly has an opportunity here. If he can get out the gate fast and win one in first 3 yrs he could be in position to set up the program like Saban has at Alabama. Take in mind that Saban has got to be close to retirement… Kelly is a national brand by himself already and has no trouble getting kids attention anywhere in the USA.
The wildcard in all this is NIL and Transfer Portal.

The transfer portal has been a plus for us so far. We've lost a couple of guys I'd like to still have, but they weren't in alignment so it's better pff that they're not here.

He was better than the last three actually, Saban had barely the success Kelly had before he got here.

He had the money and Notre Dame would have matched anything LSU put on the table. He’s here for championships.
