Ive had my fair share of coach bashing.

But let me say that the team really bounced back on saturday.

I truly feel that if it had been anyone else.. Like, say another OOC opponent, it would have been another down week.

But the fact that it was florida on their homecoming made these guys ready.

The perfect storm hit and we were ready.

This team has alot to play for. And we are slowly getting healthy and physical again. We are still LSU.

Auburn better not get caught napping next week in tiger stadium. All i can say.

We're the under dogs. We have a huge game next weekend against a great team at home. Gotta get excited whether you like O or not. It's about the Tigers.

Auburn will need to be passed out for us to have a chance.

I am happy we beat Florida but why does all of sudden everyone thinks this team is fine now or can compete with the teams coming up.

Florida win might be false hope

That's fine, I hope we do too, but I've got no logical reason to believe it will happen.

Not so much. IF LSU beats Auby, then I will start to give the current head coach some credit.

Roger, that UF team is garbage, and if they don't miss an XP, who knows how it shakes out.

And it might not.

Just have some fun this season.

LSU showed a lot of character this past week. They could have folded up shop like many of y'all predicted and given up.

They didn't. So why are you?

You're right.

Maybe LSU drives for a score instead of trying to run out the clock.

If LSU wins, you'll find some other reason to not give anyone credit.

The next goalpost will be Bama or some other bullshite

I don't see everyone thinking that. Most realize this team still has problems.

However, even the most cynical of fans should be pleased with the effort yesterday. When Florida began to run the ball in the 2nd half, I was concerned our guys were on the brink of getting frustrated and quitting again.

But they didn't; they hung in there and finished off a nice win. You could hear our sideline erupting on TV during some tough runs by Guice and Williams or when Franks got sacked. That was awesome.

Lsu will have to play a lot better to beat auburn. They will have to throw the ball and etling may be killed this week.

Some of us can put the Florida game into perspective but still root for the Tigers. Florida is bad and we barely beat them, but I will still have hope that LSU can beat an even better team.

There will be a time to complain about this programs leadership and I will give criticism where it's needed, but that time is not right now. It's time to get excited about the Tigers playing a big game in Death Valley.

Otherwise, wtf are we even fans for? We're fans for games like this.

OK, cheese fest over.

Good post, your are absolutely right. I see a lot of fans complaining about the game atmosphere, yet don't realize that they ARE the atmosphere.

I want you to think about that statement. I mean, really put some perspective on it. When it hits you square in the face let me know.
