But Woody could check the most important box of any coach these days and keep the Marxist happy. That is far more important than anything else at LSU these days.

You probably one of those against the “vax card” check also but went anyway and didn’t let your friends know.

Bigots will never change.

Do you not worry about Aranda recruiting?

Not at all. He learned from 2 of the best in Les and O. And he’s smart enough to know he’s not them, but can mold what they did right with his own personality and figure out what will work for him. And he knows he’ll have to hire assistants who are both great coaches and recruiters.

I also think he’s smart and organized enough to work with Austin Thomas and whoever would be his recruiting coordinator and develop an efficient, strategic recruiting plan.

Wasn’t it sort of well known that he wasn’t the best at it during his run at LSU?

I’m not really sure if it was known or just assumed because of the personality he showed to us. I think he’s probably more charismatic in homes, and I think a lot of kids and parents will find his non car salesmany approach refreshing. And you can bet your arse he will have and communicate a clear vision he has for the player instead of blowing smoke up their asses.

Now, I don’t think he’ll be wanting to text and Tweet all day long, but he can hire somebody to do that for him and call occasionally when necessary.

Probably Tennessee’s best season since 2007,

USC 8-5 10-2 7-6 under sanctions and ole miss 4-1 and primed to finish second in the sec west.

Plus is one of the best offensive minds in football.

Napier has never coached in the power 5, got fired as oc of Clemson and was only trusted to get sabans dry cleaning. Kiffin was trusted with sabans offense.

And hasn’t won shite. Because offenses coaching are busy doing that

they won the SEC and played for the NC, the idea that if you don't win the NC RIGHT AWAY is both lazy and stupid. I know you don't like Kirby but to act like he's not a great coach and building a great program is just nonsense.

He’s batting a paultry .14

look if you don't want Kiffin fine, but this type of stuff is ridiculous cherry picking with no context. First of all to get 7 seasons you are count a partial season at USC and the Current one (which could turn out to be pretty good)

He spent 1 year at Tennessee and went 7-6, in a vaccuum that's not good but he took over a team that was 5-7 and played the #1 team twice both on the road and lost to Fla by 10 and Bama by 2 and was a blocked kick away from beating them.

He then left for a better job, call that quitting if you want, but that's just looking for reasons to discredit him, Tennessee was pretty mad he left, which is an indicator to me he wasn't doing a terrible job.

His USC stop was not good but he didn't have a losing season and has done very well since

I don’t dislike him, I just think defensive coach presents a tougher road.

And he still hasn’t won the big & they are always mentioned

That’s not exactly the way your comments come across but ok

For crying out loud it’s his 6th year and they are the clear favorites. he did play for it once losing to the greatest dynasty in the history of the sport. They also knocked him out the following year in the SECCG and the year after that he had to contend with one of the greatest teams ever all in his conference.

I can only imagine what people like you would have said about guys like Bowden and Osborn
