why were you defending Miles offenses just a week trying to make Canada’s offense look bad and now crawfishing and saying Canada has done well? You are a stupid fricking hippocrite with an agenda. I never hid from my agenda I wanted Miles gone you dumbass...admit you want O gone for going 9-3 with worst loss vs state in program history and losing to a sunbelt team and how we’ve only lost to Auburn once at home in 75 years (hoping you could fool people in thinking we must have played them 37-38 times at home during that stretch when it was only 17 games) you have an agenda and it isn’t about wanting a successful team...you don’t want O to win here and show that Miles wasn’t the great coach you tout him to be.

O didn't screw the pooch against Troy. Troy was an 11 & 2 football team this season that could have beaten several SEC teams.
When we played Troy, we had a bunch of key players out on both offense and defense that couldn't play in that game. Plus Frank Herron still hadn't been cleared to play yet. Not to mention, that Arden Key was not nearly the same player he was the year before.
Hence, how did coach O screw the pooch as you say? Was it coach O's fault that other than the starters we didn't have any depth? Indeed, this was his first season at the helm of LSU and he had to deal with the team he was dealt by his predecessor.
Of course, once those key players out for the Troy game gradually returned back to playing, LSU won 6 of the next 7 games of the season, and that is the story of this season.

I remember when O got released from USC, there were several threads about getting him for recruiting. Rant was not in favor, I really didn't understand the hate for him then. I was indifferent because I didn't really know anything about him except when he was at OM.
And then, Miles hired him, and there was a lot of support from tRant for the hire. I was confused then, because of all the previous discussions about O.
And now that he is HC, all the unfavorable posts about O are coming back.
I totally understand why people are upset, but I try to see the bright side of the O situation, but the more I see, the more nervous I become. He has done some good things, some bad things, and some dumb things.
I don't know the whole story, so my judgement is skewed. With the rumors on here, hard to get a feel for the truth, because everyone is putting their spin to the situation. One thing I do know is that his hiring as the HC was more politically motivated than for his coaching skills or record.

The troy loss, as unacceptable as it was, was one fricking game. We learned from it and moved forward in a positive direction. Now, if it becomes a trend of O losing games like that, ones we should win without question, then I believe we have a serious problem. I know it has been said plenty on here, but saban lost to frickin uab at lsu and lost to ulm at bama. Every coach has a slip up game like that, and usually it is in the early stages of their career at the program they're coaching. Every program has a troy loss every now and then, there's no escaping it. Especially when it's a program like LSU playing one like troy, who happened to be a decent team this season. You mix overlooking an opponent like troy, and them playing as if it's their superbowl, and yiu get results like that every once in a while. That's just sports.
