For joe’s injury

I watched the replay and the left tackle is taking his man to the ground - unfortunately joes knee was in the flight path

So why is it the Left Tackles fault?

It’s not so much about the o-line on that one particular play, it’s the overall Cincinnati organization not doing more to obtain better protection for the best quarterback to ever come out of college.

Surprised no one has cited Bama conspiracy yet given that the 2 players most directly involved in the play are ex-Bama. Bengals LT Jonah Williams pushes Jonathan Allen into Burrow. Maybe it's been mentioned but I haven't seen it.

BTW, this is sarcasm for those with broken detectors.

They blame the O line then say our o line last year wasn’t that good, Cregg should be fired.

Obviously our O line was great last year

doubt all the damage happened in that one play...injuries are usually cumulative and he has been getting wrecked all season

Because the left guard (not tackle) got pushed back 3 yards before he preceded to pull him down into Joe’s knee?

If you watch that play, all the damage happened right then and there.

He got wrecked

If the “flight path” is the QBs knee in the pocket then they didn’t do their job

I’ve heard this bullshite excuse that “it’s a freak accident that could happen any time”

Well your probability of an injury goes up every single time you get hit and Joe was being hit at a record pace.

fricking clown

So what do you think Cincy should have done? Attempt to rebuild their entire O line in last years offseason?

Because he was being shoved backwards into Joe.

I agree. They are what they are. They did the best they could. Blame the GM.

Yea no. I think his oline sucks but catastrophic knee injuries happen in 1 second and they’re over. No one has ever had a nagging ACL/MCL/bucket tear combo that just flares up after the 50th hit that just so happens to force the knee inward while the foot is planted
