3:06, hot damn how did the refs miss that offsides on Syracuse. Fournette pointed at the player he saw but two of them actually jumped across the line. Was a third and 4 play too. Turned out good for us because it was a bomb to Dupre, but it should have been a free first down.

He is a one read quarterback right now, and that is the fundamental problem in our passing game.
I agree but I've always found the vast majority of college QB's to be one read QB's.

I know he's still getting used to playing big time football, but there were only 4 big time throws and they all were in a clean pocket. 3 to Dupree, comeback route and 2 fades and 1 to dural (the one he dropped). Consider this, almost all of those throws were in man coverage. We need to get open faster and Harris needs to set his feet and follow through on his passes. When he did that, he was far more accurate, obviously. Dural PI play was a decent throw, but dural had his man beat and it could have been a td.
I think the beauty of Harris' play in the game was that he looked to be very comfortable in the 4th quarter and made some of his best throws then.

Diarse should have caught 2 of those passes.
That last pass was a rocket. Not easy to catch those short yardage bullets. Harris will get those throws under control as the season goes on. His improvement from last year is great and every team builds chemistry as the season goes on. Last year it took them them until the Florida game to get it together. This year they are already ahead of that team and should only get better with each game.

I didn't get to see Quinn's reception b/c I missed the first few minutes of the game. Nice catch and run. Hopefully we'll get to see more of that soon
The 10 yd stops/outs should be there all the time bc of LF7 demanding the S to play up and our WR speed forcing the DBs to give a cushion knowing they have no help.

If he can't catch the Rockets put someone in who can.

Harris only missed on two throws. He played well. There was one play he took a sack by dropping back way too far and not stepping up into the pocket. That's easily fixed. The problem is not calling enough passes to get him and the receivers in a rhythm. It's also the type of passes called. He's often called on to pass on 3rd downs when the defense is ready for it. Did you see how easily he completed those intermediate passes in the first quarter????? One to Dupre. One to Quinn. One to Diarse. Easy completions. Then we don't do it the rest of the game. We do need to throw on first down. Harris is more than capable. It's also hard to blame the receivers when they get so few throws in live games. It's one thing to catch in practice and another to do it in competition.

Because our margin of penalties under Ritter is ridiculously high. His crew throws on average 4 more flags a game on LSU than any other sec ref.

I swear you guys aren't watching. They threw on first down a lot.

This is false. all the wrs played last year, Diarse has been at LSU long enough. He needs to catch the damn ball. No excuses.

if it's the play im thinking about, the defense got back before the snap. The OLine should've made contact with the defenders who jumped. Easy 5 yards. But we just sat there and gave them a chance to get back.

Any chance of a video to replicate what Miles sent to the SEC on missed calls Saturday? Not just late hits on Fournette, but the non-holding, facemasks, etc.?????
