I’ve met and talked to him, and the LSU Tiger that can talk the most “street trash” is Javonte Smart. No doubt!

Waters is always talking to his teammates. Watch him during free throws, etc. He's always there in the mix - especially w Williams. It was cool to watch him mimic Williams FT at end of regulation. He's the guy!

Did Tyrus even talk shite?

I mean, dragging nuts over someone’s forehead speaks for itself

Big Baby was more of the attitude of that team imo. Dude loved putting on a show for the camera.

Don't know how verbal he was, but Jose Vargas was the most physically intimidating LSU player I can remember. Nobody wanted to fight Jose.

I think this team is kinda similar to our most recent final 4 team...at least as far as experience and athleticism. Taz, Thomas, and Temple were just freshman. Big baby and DM were just sophs. It was an impressive run. I really don’t remember a ton of in your face trash talking..but they were confident by the time the tourney came around...and had swag. I actually see a lot of swag from this year’s team.

Not that I think a final four team needs someone who talks shite but Smart talks a whole lot of shite

Don't really have one 'enforcer' & the '86 team didn't either. EW is a tough inside player. Smart & Waters are good at getting inside opponents' heads. Smart with subtle talk & gestures, as noted, and Waters frustrates the hell out of guys with his quickness on D.

Jose, nice as he may have been, was also a brown belt in karate. At 6'9" that's a lot of leg and elbow come it at you with bad intention........
