Lol at calling bh a dual threat. He can't run or pass. Etling is actually mobile.

Keep him protected and you're going to beat Alabama, Zach Mettenberger isn't a Dual Threat Quarterback, but Miles cost Mettenberger a chance at beating Alabama

Desean Watson, Cardale Jones, and Chad Kelley have set up a blueprint for beating Alabama.

Who on our roster is even close to the talent of any of these guys?

You are going to be no where to be found next football season when it's game 6 and DE is still starting.

Wait and see.

That's painting with a pretty broad brush. I think you're excluding the possibility that Scott may be far and away the best QB we've seen in a while. He may have the ability to effect the offensive output in much the same way Jalen Hurts has at Alabama. I think he's that good.

I do not want to suffer through yet another prolonged period of having your best QB on the bench.

He isn't great and doesn't have the overall talent

The only talent I've really seen him lacking is his ability to make deep throws. That's a function of arm strength, and I'm not sure if it is something that he can improve. However, Etling reads and checks, moves well in the pocket, and is accurate on short/intermediate passes.

What major talent deficiency are you noticing outside of arm strength? His problem vs Bama wasn't talent, it was nerves. A year under his belt with consistent coaching can fix that.

Him one hoping numerous short passes. Something he didn't do in any other game. He and Coach O both came out and said he played like crap.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Etling's rushing average is -.4. His best year was 2016 with an average of 1.1 yrds.

I'm not blaming anything on Etling. A pocket passing QB will not beat Bama.Thats exactly what Etling is.

You can like it ir not but its reality.
