Etling is taking more grief for poor offensive line and poor wide receiver play. When he does get time to throw, the receivers are not making the catches.
Etling may not be individually "All-SEC", but he's "Good Enough" to lead LSU to an SEC title. Just doesn't have the OL or WR support around him.

As soon as the season is over, O has got to pull the plug on the current incompetent OL/WR coaches and hire experienced professionals for those positions!

I like the guy a lot but he’s a very very average QB. Has a ton of heart and is a natural leader though .

He’s not winning you an Sec title or championship but neither is anyone QB not playing for Bama .

The thing is , Etling is the QB we have and we are doing pretty well. Will all this criticism get you another QB this season, no,so why not try to get behind him. Just a thought.

Because fans like these are a cancer and the reason why LSU fans are labeled things like delusional, corn dog and stupid. They’re embarrassments, they believe they know more football than any coach in history from watching a tv lol. You know how you can tell an ignorant fan? They blame the coach and QB for everything because they don’t know anything about football.

A 35 yard pass really doesn't qualify as a "deep ball" once you graduate from 8th grade football. Nice throw but that is truly an intermediate route.

He'd be alot better if he didn't do this weird micro-pump (don't know what else to call it) before every throw. Causes him to be late getting balls to receivers on most routes.

This. He hesitates. It's not about arm strength. I appreciate his moxie. He seems prepared but is often too late because of that tick. It's anticipation. Even on the long balls. He could throw a lot of those guys open and they would never brake stride. He's late. Crossing routes or slants too. He did nail a pretty decent out for a big gain against auburn I think. DB broke and was too late. Turned into a decent gain but I was nervous when it left his hand.

A 35 yard pass is definitely not an intermediate throw. And even so he’s thrown balls thatve traveled over 50 yards several times this year that were on the money, this deep ball trouble is just another false Rant myth and unlike the Rants bs there’s data and video to support the truth.

Yet only 1 of 8 opposing QBs have outplayed him. As usual the anti-Etling argument has a total of zero facts to support it and relies solely on the expert opinion of the Rants QB coaches and gurus.

Etling is top-10 in the country - not SEC - in QBR.

Pretty much any article write up or website talks about his arm being strong, I mean it’s even in his bio, 5th sentence since I know you have to have your hand held when consuming any form of information. So you can stop lying about not being able to find anything about it you’ve been exposed.
LINK
But why would you care about football peoples opinions when you don’t care about facts? Go ahead dismiss it and give another excuse as to why only stupid Rant fans are right and the rest of the world is wrong. Again you’ve still not posted a shred of truth neither has anyone els claiming all these defecencies.
LINK here’s another article talking about his reputation of having a strong arm coming out of the elite 11 camp.

Want some more links d-bag?

You’re a lying piece of shite and I’ll never waste another letter on you, you spot welding pillow biting twist.

I simply hope LSU has a good game win or lose because they are our LSU Tigers. I have no crystal ball other than the way I feel about them.

This LSU football team has completely won me over since the disappointing loss to Miss State and the tragedy of losing to Troy. Because just look at what this LSU team has accomplished since then.

Florida, Auburn, and Ole Miss, all LSU victories.

So even though they are indeed a thin team in depth and talents they are making up for that circumstance playing with a lot of spirit and heart. Geaux Tiger!!!

I don't think throwing Brennan out there against Alabamas defense would be the smartest thing to do. Brennan might get seriously injured.

Play Brennan or play Etling . I don’t care but this way of thinking needs to stop. I know how talented Bama is and we may not win this game, but quit building them up even more. Any team can be beat on any given day. Has Troy not taught you that?

lmfao as predicted. Either you can’t read or most likely you’re simply stupid. What do you think they pulled that info out of a magic hat? It says it came from the elite 11,the manning camp, 247, an all star game and yes a draft website. So again you’re lying. Where do you think the people who wrote the stuff got it? Answer the question smart mouth. Do you know what a scouting report is? Nvmd I already know the answer to that. Sorry you were wrong again but you should be used to that by now.
Lol you’re a fricking joke.
