Blake Ferguson is a time traveler. Dude was punting for OU in 2003. Then switched roles and became a long snapper to win a championship with LSU in 2020. What are the odds?

The weeks leading up to that game was non-stop "Jason White is gonna rape LSU" propaganda. It was lovely watching him get shut down completely.

13/37. 102 yards, 0 TDs, 2 Ints

Gay and daniels were key to that win. Spears was fantastic as was Eric Alexander. Mauk was pretty shitty. Vincent fumbled twice and was lucky only one counted. Lackluster offensive game but d was stout. OK only had one real td drive as one of their scores came on a blocked punt that gave them the ball on lsu 3 yd line

To be fair, statistically, OU was #1 before the championship game - but not after the game.

My understanding is that the two teams were so close that LSU became the #1 defense with the Vincent run on the first play.

If that's not true, I don't want to hear about it.

That actually may be true. I just remember going into the game OU and LSU were #1 and #2, after the game LSU was #1 and OU was #2.

If I'm not mistaken, he said that at halftime, so he may well have been wrong at that point in time.

White sucked that game.

I remember seeing him walking around campus after the Sugar Bowl and he had looked like someone beat the hell out of him...

Had White been accurate on their last two series they would have tied the game.
