No one ever did anything great by being comfortable.

There's a reason why Les was the Mad Hatter at one point.

Because he hired assistant coaches he didn't like, trust and was not conformable with?

Please tell more on this oddity from the real world of success that only you are aware of. I guess when a corporate CEO can't trust and doesn't even like the people under him is when he is the most successful? Ha Ha ha ha ha aha ha !!!1

if LSU wants to ever do anything of note it has to get the line where it can stand up to bama. i'm tired of seeing our qb's laying on the ground vs them. there is no reason for bama to be pushing us around every year.

How did he screw up the WR & DL situation?

It's not just an LSU problem. It's an issue across the conference.

Can add QB to that list. You had a backup qb from Purdue starting at LSU.

WR: we have a ton of young talent at WR. We are unproven there, but certainly don’t lack talent. Miles was an exceptional WR recruiter despite his anemic passing offenses.

OL: Miles was an excellent OL recruiter as well. We were thin at OL last year because Teheuma and Okeke transferred.

DL: agreed. Our DL recruiting fell off quite a bit the last 5-6 years.

LB: Again, after Chavis left LSU recruiter a ton of great LBers. It’s one of our more talent rich positions the last 3-4 years.

Calling if an excellent OL recruiter is a bit of stretch.

WR- quinn /Johnson/ diarse leaving due to offensive ineptness under Miles left us with the worst WRs we’ve had in 25 years in 17’

DL the numbers were just thin.

so was he fired for squandering talent, or for being a poor recruiter?

I need to know so I have my talking points correct for when this thread is made next week.
