LSU is about where they should be based on players returning and the way they ended the season. No problem with that list.

Preseason rankings are the only complaint I have about the BCS system.
It maintains the status quo and makes people focus on the wrong shite. Just like anything and everything ranked by the USNWR.

Really have no problem with this. We have a lot of unproven a on defense. Am curious to see how breaking in three new starting o linemen is gonna effect bama. They deserve to be number 1 at the moment though

Honestly, if the rankings came out tomorrow, I wouldn't mind being 13. But Schlabach is a UGA homer, and it always irks me when I see him put anything together where he gets to put LSU on a lower rung.
Looking at his list, I could see them ranked as high as maybe 9, as low as a distant 13. But if he has the op, you know he's going to go lowest common denominator. LSU at 13 was probably the first team he penciled in, and just filled the rest of the shite out afterwards.
