I don't expect him to turn into an LSU fan. I do expect him, or the people over him, to have some fricking situational awareness about the state they reside in, a state that has heavily subsidized their oganization in a variety of ways. That's what I expect.

apparently all he told him was to spread the defensive linemen out wider to help defend the option. Read it somewhere.

This. Whole bunch of pussies in this thread. People are obsessed with finding another avenue to point fingers at this point.
The facts are that Jefferson executed the option as shitty as someone can run it. Jefferson had several opportunities to run with the ball himself because the Alabama defenders always seemed to defend the running back. They dared Jefferson to run & he laid down like a cheap arse whore.
Jefferson's pussy arse wanted no part of running the ball because he is frickin soft & doesn't like contact. Jefferson had the chance to opened up the option game by running with the ball himself. That would have forced Bama to play him & not the running back opening up opportunities for the pitch later on.
Secondly, there were no damn adjustments by Miles by the offense. It was the same recycled, 3-4 garbage arse plays every offensive series. It was Miles & the coaching staff who refused to at least make a change at quarterback that may or not have sparked the offense.
