They haven't done it yet, but you can bet Auburn smells blood in the water now. They're already going to be trying to play spoiler. This just sent their confidence through the roof.

If its addy, big fricking deal. You could round up Middleton during exam week and probably at least 50 percent of the kids would be on it.

At least Miles has the integrity to suspend 2 of his big stars for a real game unlike Urban who would suspend them for a quarter or wait until they played a scrub team before sitting them.
It is a shame that these kids and I stress KIDS would put themselves in this position for this to happen but it is what it is.
I applaud Les if he does the right thing. It says a lot about the coach and the school and sends a message that now matter how important you are, you will follow the rules like everyone else on the team.

man, i hate that kids on a team this good are doing some dumb shite like this. just sucks man.

It makes me angry. Just my opinion, they should be suspended for more than one game, but that's just me. I'm surprised LSU came out and said "failed drug test".

Hopefully this opens the door somewhat for the players on the team who actually appreciate the opportunity they have. No one player is above this team. If a player violates team rules, he should be suspended. Simple as that.

When did LSU say this? Everything has been "according to a source". LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette would say ONLY that the players were involved in an internal matter that coach Les Miles "will handle accordingly."
They didn't say anything about a failed drug test because they can't. Don't spread rumors.

These are not "mistakes", but pure stupidity and selfishness. Everything that this team has gone through and worked for is going to mess around and go down the fricking crapper if this team is not careful. They have the chance to do something special and are about to piss it away.

Stupid, just plain stupid. Do these kids have any sence at all?

I live in Birmingham, and it's all over Paul Finebaum and they are saying drugs, and that now AUBURN has a real shot at taking us out and the GUMPS are salivating at the possibility Auburn could beat us before we get to T-town....We need to let this motivate us to pound them both into oblivion...

Yep. Kinda took the edge off the new QB starting.

An "Addy" IS a big deal, regardless of how many students are popping it. It's a controlled substance, and just as illegal, and carries more addiction potential, than marijuana. You and your kind are idiots.

Sorry to ask a dumb question. Been out of pocket all day. Some things I read say Simon is suspended and others don't. So, which is it. All 3 or just Ware and Claiborne. thx

I actually agree with this. College students smoke pot, hell...many adults do but in the middle of a special season to jeopardize the season for your whole team is just f'king stupid. Hopefully this temporary stupidity will pass.
