50 Voices on What we're looking forward to this coming season

Who are these voices?
- All the ESPN analysts
- Lots of coaches and players

But NOBODY from / associated w LSU.
Only one mention of LSU by some Ole Piss wide receiver.

Was interesting reading the Miami QB is focused on getting back to the ACC Championship Game.

Yeah I know, ESPN hates LSU, we are not a top tier program blah blah blah.

As ever the optimist, I'm guessing they won't be able to ignore this team for very long.

Yeah, this is a prank propagated by O haters and Negatigers.
Pay no attention to the perception of growing disrespect for the LSU football program by the national media.

Meh. LSU beats Miami and they will likely be one of the most talked about teams going into wekks 2 & 3.

All true and I expect no worse than 8-4 with 10-2 being the ceiling.

Yeah but not for the reasons you’re thinking.

I'd rather they talk about us, in a good way, at the end of the season.

LSU doesn’t deserve no freakin respect until the school starts to act and function like a top tier program. These type of teams don’t hire guys like Aleva and O as a head coach.

Take off the P&G glasses. What national respect does LSU "deserve" right now?

The haven't won or even played for a conference title in six years.

LSU's status as Bama's toughest challenger has essentially disappeared. Auburn, A&M and Ole Miss have beaten them more recently than LSU

They haven't been to a BCS/New Year's Six bowl in six years.

They haven't finished a season ranked in the top 10 in six years

They're 3-3 in their last 6 bowl games.

They have a HC who has only had one winning season (as a permanent HC) in his entire career.

That's not negativity. It's just facts. Now, this season can go a LONG way to changing the national perception or perceived "disrespect". But the reality is that over the last 6 years LSU has been a good, but by no means "great" program.

They aren't able to talk about every fricking team in the nation. LSU is projected to be down. Why would they focus on them?

No kidding. It is comical to watch the haters jump all over something like this and go onto hate/melt mode shitting on the team. This kind of shite means nothing. Most people not attached to lsu football have no clue about all the positive momentum, transfers, etc. It'll take exactly 1 week to have the college football world buzzing. Haters gonna hate though.

Lol. You make it sound like a&m and ole Miss have moved ahead of lsu in the conference. Funny CBS didn't choose either of those matchups for the primetime game.

He doesn't even mention the front 7 in the article. He is going strictly by returning starters without realizing that a lot of those non starters actually started several games last year, plus in a lot of instances, appear to be upgrades.

Says he likes the team, has them too 25 in power rankings, but won't include them because of schedule. Lol. What kind of bs is that. You rank the best 25, and let the chips fall. Not hold it against a team because of a tough schedule.
