I have to work so I am pissed. Yes I am glad we are still playing at this time of the year but I am allowed to bitch about the time slot.

i work all weekend...im not thrilled. It's always been like this though. ESPN puts on the least intriguing matchups earlier, lsu-sbu and zona-st johns are proof. it's nothing new.
can't exactly say south carolina and oklahoma is intriguing but they are the defending chumps so there you go. if miami comes through, you best believe we'd be in that time slot.

I'm not that upset with the decision.
I'm upset with the idiotic contractual system that allows such a decision to be made in the first place.
People seem to be missing the point here.

And we lost even moreso because of the timezones of the host teams left.
On our side of the bracket we have two teams in PDT, one in CDT, and one in EDT.
The two "best" hosts in our bracket left are LSU and FSU. Well FSU is playing a better opponent from the west coast and we are playing a no name from the east coast.
They basically had to put us in that slot thanks to UNC and Miami losing.

Stony Brook was ranked #29 by the writers before the regional started, but that's not even the point.
The point is that it's stupid to give ESPN the power to move any super regional to all 11am games.
I keep telling people that it's the contractual system that's stupid, not the individual decision, and people keep on arguing about the individual decision. Try to stay on point, people.

That's crazy. These are the super regionals to determine who goes to the CWS. Nobody should be forced to play 11am games if they don't want to. It's bad for the sport.

It's basically an entire day of NCAA baseball.
If football players can play 11am games, then baseball players can too.

There are bout 200 college teams who would give just bout anything to be playing at that time or anytime in a super regional...right.
Be happy the team is one of 16 teams to have earned the right for you to still be enjoying their play.
