1. ESPN has gushed over Joe. Praising him non stop for months.

2. An analyst saying he would take Trevor over Joe isn’t disrespect.

3. One analyst doesn’t represent ESPN’s position.

Other than that carry on.

Burrow expresses pocket awareness on the level of Brady, focus, athleticism and accuracy like Brees, and instincts of Russell Wilson, acceleration of an average NFL receiver...
His long ball accuracy and touch is nothing I have seen since Joe Montana, the closest recent guy with touch like that is Aaron Rodgers...

this and let's all remember rex's qb probably has the most embarrassing play in the history of pro football.

And if Field’s receiver runs the route he is supposed to Ohio State wins and Lawerence is sitting at home...

Landrywasbeast30,
You forget who has the first pick. Do you think Cincinnati would pick Tua or Lawrence over Burrow? So your argument is nullify by who is actually picking first.

The only thing Trevor Lawrence has on Burrow and the only thing, is a tad more arm strength. But Joe rolled out and on the run flicked one 46 yards and it was a dime. Burrow has enough arm strength to win in the NFL right now. He is as fast as Lawrence and maybe more athletic. His pocket movement is light years ahead. His accuracy is on another level. And he reads the play better than anyone I’ve seen in college.

Joe Burrow is better, but don’t forget that three years ago Burrow was not as good as Lawrence is this year. And THAT is what the NFL will take into consideration. Lawrence is far younger. How good will he be three years from now?

Welcome.

This is why I come here. The funny thing is that most of Joe’s long ball completions are underthrown, and our receivers come back and high point the ball. His arm is very average for an NFL QB. He truly is a great QB, but it’s because of his pocket presence, and his ability to keep looking downfield while he slithers around the pocket.

The Joe Montana comparison is a very good one. Both very nimble athletes. Both cool as a cucumber. Both with average NFL arms.

Orlovsky and Ryan would rather have the Clemson QB. Considering both their histories, they are wrong again!

Did you forget the DB was waiting right where the receiver was supposed to be and caught the ball?
