Incorrect. LSU has lost 3 out of their last 4 football games and COULD have lost to Troy. I disagree- this bowl game needs to be something positive heading into 2009.

Thank your stars for the Bird Bowl. It, too, might get ugly. Then again, it might not. We could compete against a running offense.

Had we finished 8-4, SC still probably would have gone to the Outback. They are just obsessed with Eastern Division teams, and with Spurrier being friends with a key Outback Bowl exec, we probably never really had a shot. I thought we did, but I was wrong.
