I`m not saying that this should be the hire but Mark Stoops
is a better coach than most on that list. The job he has done
at Kentucky is amazing if you look at their history.Same
with the guy at Iowa St. Cambell. There are some schools
that if you win at you are legit.

Why would Lincoln Riley or James Franklin leave a top tier situation and come to a troubled LSU? Gundy’s got it made at OSU. The fan base doesn’t expect to win a Natty and are happy with any winning season and a bowl invite. He’s well paid, played at OSU, & T. Boone Pickins dumped a lot of money into upgrading the athletic facilities. He can ride out his career there. Working against him…Les Miles came from OSU and Gundy was one of his coordinators.

I want no one from this list. They will underachieve at LSU and will assure us of at least 3 looses a year.

I would take Kiffin as O coordinator though.

good with all those except gundy

Add Napier and Kiffin to the "no want" list. You might as well take Lincoln Riley off the list too. He's not leaving OU.

I have a feeling that James Franklin will be at or near the top of Woodward's list. He's a good coach and he meets Tate's number one qualification for the job.

Also says Aranda is a strong possibility for USC.

1. Mario Cristobal (Oregon)

Is not leaving all that NIL money

2. James Franklin (Penn St.)

"Coach Franklin called her in for a private meeting and told her he wanted her to get 15 pretty girls together and form a team to assist with the recruiting, even though he knew it was against the rules." LSU isnt hiring another Les Miles

3. Lincoln Riley (OU)

Named his dogs Boomer and Sooner. And OK is now in the SEC, so . . . .

4. Jimbo Fisher (Texas A&M)

Last school he moved to had Woodward as its AD

5. Mark Stoops (Kentucky)

They misspelled Bob

6. Lane Kiffin (Ole Miss)

LSU isnt hiring EdOs running buddy. Plus, he strung us along and got Ed the job in '17. And he punked us with the Jansen Jackson thingy

7. Mike Gundy (OK State)

Yeah, I think we are good with no more Les Miles comparisons

8. Billy Napier (Louisiana)

Which one single name on this list is not like the others?

So no Luke Fickell?

I like him better than anyone on that list.

Lincoln Riley scares me because most of his success comes from being in a weak conference???

I didn’t like the idea of Lincoln either at first, but hear me out: he’s at a place where he depends on national recruits to succeed. Imagine him being at a place where national recruits where just the icing on the cake? His offensive schemes are legit, he calls his own plays, and if he brought Alex Grinch with him, imagine what the could do with Louisiana talent?

Starting to feel like mark stoops is in play.

Starting to like stoops. The Man has made kentucky a contender. HE is a defensive guy but knows how to build a team and is recruiting well of all places Kentucky. Id rather stoops that Fickle at Cincy. At least stoops has proven himself in the SEC compared to American conference.
