ESPN APP Problems/Support Help Needed

Good afternoon

I'm old and the new technologies drive me up the wall. We have a Samsung Smart TV with a DirectTV Genie. We have ESPN, ESPN +, SEC and SEC +. We have occasionally had to delete our ESPN App and then reload it to make it work. Today, we watched the softball game. After the girls won we wanted to kill our buzz, so we tried to switch to the boys game and the ESPN app would not load. We deleted the app as our usual fix, but when we tried and reload the app, we got a message that the app is busy.

Do you think this is
1. ESPN app related
2. Direct TV
3. User incompetence
4. All of the above?

TIA for any help or suggestions.

PS: We ran a speed test on our network and through the tv and on both tests, the speed was blazing.

I’ve tried to switch to another game after an LSU game & had to enter my login stuff again
I think it’s mostly the ESPN app is shite

LSU always loses on my app. I think my app isn’t working right either.

That used to happen to me then I got a Roku Stick and ALL the apps work great.

Most apps on the smart tv itself are shite. I’d recommend getting a Roku and trying that. Roku is the most user friendly platform.

On another note, the espn app definitely has its own issues. This sounds like the tv platform itself to me.

Once I bought the Disney bundle, all of these issues went away for me. I go in through Disney.
