funny how yall wanted to take out lee and jj(who have experience) last year to put in met now yall want a qb with worse stats because he has experience gtfo

The situation isn't similar since nobody who wants Bolden would want him to play.

I doubt Bolden would ever see the field at LSU....He would just be an insurance policy to prevent a season going from bad (mett injured) to disasterous (mett injured + Rivers sucks).
If Mett gets hurt, you probably still go with Rivers/R....But if those guys suck, at least you can put a guy out there that has played at this level before to prevent an absolutely disasterous season (we certainly wouldn't be "good," but at least we can get the season over fast without going winless).
You're not bringing him to be your starting QB (or even your backup QB), you're just giving yourself another option at QB if the worst happens.
If Mett gets hurt, you probably still go with Rivers/R....But if those guys suck, at least you can put a guy out there that has played at this level before to prevent an absolutely disasterous season (we certainly wouldn't be "good," but at least we can get the season over fast without going winless).

Yeah but Bolden sucks and would be even worse in the SEC...so if we know both of them suck then bring on Randall.

I think I know what's going on here. Some of our fans like melting down so much, that they want to be able to do it right away if Mett gets hurt. With Rivers and Randall, there is still shreds of hope, because we don't know what they can do. But if we take Bolden, and Mett gets hurt, at least we have the peace of mind of not holding out false hope.

Were already running out of spots in the 2013 class with some big names still on the board at some big spots. No way we take this guy
